As the Sales Engineer, you will be an integral part of the sales team, providing technical leadership and guidance to new and existing clients throughout Patientco's pre-sales and client implementation lifecycle experience.  You are confident discussing technical concepts and explaining how new product features work from an architectural perspective.  You are intellectually curious, and excel at generating excitement around prospects. Does that sound like you? OVERVIEW

The Sales Engineer will work with the Sales Team to identify the products and services that create the best solution to meet and exceed the client’s business requirements.   

This individual will own all technical activities required throughout the sales cycle.  The Sales Engineer will be required to have hands-on work with the product and have the ability to provide sophisticated  technical solutions.

  • Ability to ask probing questions when incomplete information is provided.
  • Bachelor degree required, advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years proven work experience in a Sales Engineering or similar role.
  • 5+ years in Healthcare Technology required with a strong preference for work in Revenue Cycle technologies.
  • Proven track record selling complex enterprise solutions.
  • Proven ability to execute sales plans to meet performance expectations and requirements.
  • Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy to understand manner.
  • Effectively manage multiple engagements at one time.

PRIMARY TEAM ACTIVITIES:

  • Bring technical expertise to Sales team  in complex, solution-sales opportunities including opportunity qualification, produce demonstration and technical presentations.
  • Partner with sales executives to plan, prepare and execute on strategic deals in complex sales cycles.
  • Own technical discovery with new business opportunities and sign off on technical value solution discussed and presented to clients.
  • Manage all technical aspects of RFP / RFI responses.
  • Become a product expert of the platform while recommending best practices using a consultative approach.
  • Understanding and applying technical knowledge of Patientco products and to drive sales achievement and successful on-boarding of new clients.
  • Understand and effectively communicate  what is technically possible within our platform.
  • Provide ongoing feedback from prospects to the development team.
  • Stay up to date on competitive technical landscape and opportunities within prospective customer base.
  • Attend trade shows, industry conferences, etc., to provide technical expertise with prospective clients.
  • Provide ongoing product training to the sales team and other internal resources as needed.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: 

  • This position requires being able to travel approximately 50% of the time.
